Who is Rhanderson Cardoso, MD?
Rhanderson Cardoso, MD, is a Cardiologist at Brigham & Womenโs Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA, USA. He finished his training in Cardiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he also pursued a MHS in Cardiovascular Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
He is from the countryside of northern Brazil, in the states of Goias and Tocantins. With a strong work ethic and great dedication, he overcame several obstacles to graduate medical school at the Federal University of Goias, followed by an international career in the USA. Currently, he has over 80 publications in PubMed, more than 250 abstracts in medical conferences, and over 1800 citations on Google Scholar. His work has been cited by international guidelines from the European Society of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Gastroenterology, and many others.
Rhanderson Cardoso is also passionate about teaching. He was chief resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami and has given classes in Evidence Based Medicine training courses at Duke University, NC, USA, and the University of Miami, FL, USA.
Today, he shares his experience with medical students, residents, and fellows at his clinical work, and also internationally through the ECG Academy, the Publication Roadmap, and the Meta-Analysis Academy.
